Waiting For Spring

This piece is matted with a 4-inch, neutrally toned tatami silk outer mat and a 1/4-inch complementary inner colored mat.  It is framed in an elegant, simple 2-1/2-inch gold frame which would complement any decor from modern to traditional.  Subtle metallic pigments enhance the composition, which was awarded an "Honorable Mention" at the Wisconsin Pastel Artists Group Exhibition, "Unwilling Adjustments."
